HANS LARSON IS CALLED BY DEATH
Hans Larson passed away at the Lutheran hospital In Sioux City early Wednesday morning. Mr. Larson had been failing in health since early in the summer but there was hope of his recovery until the last week. An operation was performed last week without success.

Mr. Larson was born in Norway sixty-two years ago. He came to America at the age of thirteen. The major part of his life was spent here in the vicinity of Soldier, having lived on a farm just east of the country church for a number of years. Mr. Larson was a public-spirited man and did many good things for this community. He was served for several years as a Deacon in the Lutheran Church and has always been prominent in the business affairs and general work of the church.

Mr. Larson was a good farmer and a good neighbor. He leaves many friends to mourn his unexpected departure from this life, along with members of his family and other relatives. Besides his widow there are two sons and one daughter. They are Oscar L. and Harold of Soldier and Mrs. Conrad Rude of Onawa -- Soldier Sentinel
