Glenda V. Graybill, 74, of Council Bluffs, Iowa died July 14, 2009 at Risen Son Christian Village in Council Bluffs. Services were Friday, July 17 at 11:00 at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home.

Glenda Vyonne Graybill was born May 10, 1935 in rural Moorhead, Iowa, the daughter of Ruth and Ivan Graybill. She was raised on a farm near Moorhead and graduated from Soldier Community School in 1953.

Glenda enjoyed reading and was a strong supporter of the Council Bluffs Public Library. She enjoyed music, especially jazz and enjoyed eating out. She was an enthusiastic member of several 12-step recovery programs. She worked with great pride for the Omaha Police Department as a secretary for 23 years retiring in 1995.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Eric and Kelly Erlandson of Lincoln, Nebraska; daughter Summer Erlandson of Ute, Iowa; daughter and son-in-law, Mali and Bo Fox of Turin, Iowa; six grandchildren that she was so proud of: Tara, Maggie, Scott, Cora, Jake and Craig and her brother Bruce Graybill and his wife Bonita of Moorhead, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
