John Terry Belt USN CPO Retired passed away at his home in San Diego, California on October 31, 2008 after a prolonged illness.

John Belt was born September 24, 1950 in Copague LI, NY. He graduated in 1970 from West Monona High School and served honorably in the Navy for twenty-two years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles W and Leta O James Belt, and identical twin Brother Charles Jerry Belt and nephew, Justin Anderson. He is survived by his wife, Roxanne, son, James Perry Belt and daughter, Mary K. Arnold, three stepchildren and nine grandchildren, an older brother and five sisters.

Interment will be at the National Cemetery in San Diego, California.
