Hulda (Ohm) Buenger, age 99 of Aurelia, Iowa, and formerly of Mapleton, died Tuesday, October 22 in Aurelia.
Services were held 4:00 p.m. Thursday, October 24 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Aurelia. Graveside services were held at 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Soldier Township, Crawford County. Redig Funeral Home in Aurelia was in charge of arrangements.
Hulda Ohm graduated from Mapleton High School in 1921. She married Martin E. Buenger June 10, 1923 at St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Mapleton.
Survivors include her daughter, Elizabeth Klumpp Tuttle of Cherokee; two daughters-in-law, Carolyn Buenger of Florence, Wisconsin and Erika Buenger of Berlin, Germany; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her sister, Helena Bruhn; infant daughter, Margaret, two sons, The Rev. Paul Buenger and James Buenger; one son-in-law Donald Klumpp.
