ONAWA, Iowa -- Dustin Michael Moore, 17, of Onawa died Sunday, Jan., 2, 2005, of injuries suffered in an automobile accident near Little Sioux, Iowa.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at First Christian Church in Onawa, with the Rev. Dennis Olson officiating. Burial will be in Onawa Cemetery. Visitation will be 9 a.m. until service time Thursday at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Rush Family Care Service in Onawa.

Dustin was born Nov. 13, 1987, Omaha, the son of Philip and Wanda (Martin) Moore. He attended West Monona High School, where he currently was a junior.

He was employed at Magic Depot and loved working with children there. He was a very caring person and an avid hunter and fisherman.

Survivors include his parents of Onawa; two sisters, Ashley and Keri Moore, both of Onawa; his grandparents, Georgia Martin of Onawa, Alan Lynn of Onawa and Margaret and Stanley Wood of Blencoe, Iowa; three aunts, Lisa and her husband, Mike Christensen of Onawa, Kay Clayton of Atlantic, Iowa, and Jo Moore of Woodbine, Iowa; two uncles and their wives, Jim and Mary Johnson of Onawa and Gayle and Pat Moore of Gretna, Neb.; and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, James Martin and Don Moore; great-grandparents, George and Josephine Clapper; two aunts, Ruth Johnson and Doris Schafer; and two uncles, Joe Schafer and Dee Lloyd Moore.
