Marvin James Was Instantly Killed

Mr. and Mrs. R.W. Bass received a letter last week telling of the death of Marvin James, a resident of Ute several years ago. Marvin was employed as clerk at the A.L. Miller store while here.

He was instantly killed in a head-on auto collision about 11 p.m. Wednesday night, June 16, near Pendleton, Indiana, where he worked at the Indian Reformatory. He was alone in his car and was killed 150 feet of the reformatory entrance when he was struck. He was buried at Lexington, Indiana, Sunday, June 20th.
