Maureen C Lucey was born December 27, 1921 in Oklahoma City, Okla. and passed away in Rosemead. Calif October 4. 1984. She was the daughter of John Joseph and Marguerite Setchell 0 Leary. After the death of her parents she and her brother Jack were brought to the Marley home in Blencoe. Iowa, where Miss Mary Marley took care of them.
Maureen graduated from Blencoe High School in 1938. After graduating from Beauty School in Council Bluffs she operated a Beauty Shop in Mondamin, Iowa until her marriage to E. T Lucey of Los Angeles, Calif. in October 1948.
Her only brother Jack was killed in Germany during World War II.
She is survived by her husband, Edmund of Rosemead, Calif., six daughters and two sons, also two grandchildren and Aunt Mercedes Seagraves of Oregon, and many relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Monday, October 8, 1984 in San Gabriel, Calif and burial was in San Gabriel Cemetery.
