Onawa Weekly Democrat 1Mar1900 Other News Notes Whiting IA 27Feb1900 Mrs. R.C. Napier died at her home in Whiting on Saturday of a complication of the stomach and heart trouble. Mr. and Mrs. Napier came to this county in the seventies and have been residents of this town the past eight years. They have raised a family of nine children, all of whom were present at the funeral on Monday afternoon except Mrs. Phillips who resides in Colorado. Mrs. Napier was 73 years old on 16Jan and her death was the second in the family. The funeral was held from the Congregational church Monday at 2 o'clock conducted by Rev. McSkimmings.
