Joy La June "June" Anderson, 81, Onawa, Iowa died Friday, November 26, 2004 at Pleasant View Care Center, Whiting, Iowa.

June was born June 23, 1923 at Sioux City, Iowa, the daughter of Frank and Lela (Welliver) Anderson. She married Park C. Anderson, October 23,1940 at Elk Point, South Dakota. Park died December 20, 2001 at Onawa.

She was a certified nurse’s aide at Burgess Memorial Hospital and Elmwood Nursing Home several years. She was later an aide for Monona County Home Health and cared for many in their homes.

She was a member of First Christian Church in Onawa.

Survivors include a daughter and her husband Darla and Steve Ueding of Colfax, IA; four sons and their wives, Ron and Julie of Onawa, Bob and Diane of Omaha, NE, Richard and LaVoynne of Hendersonville, TN. and Gary and Vickie of Aptos, CA; eleven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; three sisters, LaVonne Simpson of Modale, IA, Theo Wickersham of Bell Flower, CA and Joyce Jacobson of Corona, CA and a brother, Burl Anderson of Tecopa, CA .

In addition to her husband, Park, she was, preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Melvin Anderson; and a sister Donna Murray.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, November 30, 2004 at Rush Family Chapel, Onawa with Rev. Dennis Olsen, officiating. Music selections were "Amazing Grace" and "In The Garden" provided by Ron Anderson, John Simmons, Steve Ueding and Steve McCracken and "The Lord's Prayer" by Lynn Cooper. Burial was in the Onawa Cemetery. Visitation was from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Casket bearers were Ron, Bob, Richard and Noel Anderson, Tom Templeton and Steve Ueding.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, November 30, 2004 at Rush Family Chapel, Onawa with Rev. Dennis Olsen officiating.
