Lavonne Maskevich, 75, of Chattanooga, Tenn., formerly of Sioux City and Whiting, Iowa, died Sunday, February 8, 1998 at a Chattanooga Hospital.

Services were held Tuesday, February 10, at North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home. The Rev. Joel Wood, the Rev. Terry Shannon and the Rev. Jimmy Jewell officiated. Burial was in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Maskevich was a native of Whiting and graduated from Central High School in Sioux City. She was employed as a secretary with attorney Lester Davidson for several years. She married Joseph Maskevich, a native of Sioux City.

She was a member of Hixon Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Marilyn Vincent of Hixson, Tenn., and Renee Owens of Soddy-Daisy, Tenn., five sons, Richard of Marietta, Ga., Tony of Soddy-Daisy, Steve of Chattanooga, Mark of Smyrna, Ga., and Joe Jr., of Orlando, Fla., a brother, Donald Long of Whiting; 18 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
