27 March 2008Franklin N. Adams, 88, of Blencoe, Iowa, died Monday, March 17, 2008, at Elmwood Care Centre, Onawa, Iowa.
He was born September 18, 1919, at Pender, Nebraska, the son of Albert C. and Margaret (Stansberry) Adams. He lived in Blencoe, Iowa from early childhood until March 2004, when due to ill health, he moved to Elmwood Care Centre.
During his lifetime he worked for the Chicago Northwestern Railroad and the Blencoe Co-op Elevator. After his retirement he did odd jobs and yard work for Blencoe residents and friends.
Franklin is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and friends who he enjoyed very much.
He was, preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Evelyn Heineman and Viola Meeker; and two brothers, Albert "Bud" Adams and Charles E. Adams.
The body was cremated and there will be no visitation and no funeral. Interment will be at a later date Arrangements were by Pearson Funeral Home, Onawa, Iowa.
