Cecil A. Peterson, 87, Onawa, died August 17, 1986 at Burgess Memorial Hospital in Onawa.

She was born August 1, 1899, at Pisgah, to Sherman and Lennie (Vredenburgh) Clark. On March 16, 1921, she married Chris Peterson at Logan. They made their home at Pisgah and Blencoe prior to coming to Onawa in 1966.

She was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Onawa.

Survivors include; her husband, Chris; two daughters, Mrs. Darrell (Mrylen) Wakehouse of Barstow, California and Mrs. Keith (Janet) Payne of Wray, Colorado; five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, a sister, two sons and a daughter.

Graveside services were held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 20, 1986 at the Onawa Cemetery with Elder Dale Wolf officiating.

Bearers were Wayne Gries, Harry Struble, Ralph Lindsey and Burdette Madsen.

Interment was in the Onawa Cemetery with arrangements by the Pearson Funeral Home, Onawa
