Mrs. Leone Moorhead Bressman, 87, of Omaha, Nebraska, formerly of Moorhead, Iowa died on Thursday, August 7, 1986 at Immanuel Village in Omaha.

The former Leone Moorhead was born at Moorhead on December 30, 1898. Her parents were Charles and Augusta (Bond) Moorhead. She married Earl N. Bressman September 1, 1921 at Moorhead. The couple made their home in various locations where he taught at universities and later in Washington, D.C. for 15 years. The couple retired in 1943 and returned to Moorhead to make their home. Mr. Bressman died January 3, 1985, at Arlington, Virginia. Leone had been a resident of Immanuel Village for the last one and a half years.

She was a member of the Moorhead Christian Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Richard G. (Donna) Beckner of Arlington, Va., a son, Dr. Charles M. Bressman of Omaha, Nebraska; a brother, Morris Moorhead of Mesa, Ariz., and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Earl.

Memorial services were held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 9, 1986, at the Christian Church, Moorhead, Iowa, with Rev. M. Dwight Walker officiating. The organist was Mrs. Robert Oehler.

Interment was in the Spring Valley Cemetery, Moorhead, Iowa, with arrangements by Pearson Funeral Home, Onawa, Iowa.

Memorial have been established in her name with Moorhead Christian Church or a favorite charity.
