3 July 1985E. Joan Chamberlain, 52, of Phoenix, Ariz., formerly of Sioux City and rural Soldier area died at Humana Hospital on June 24, 1986.
Services were held Saturday, June 28, 1986 at 3 p.m. at the Maryvale Baptist Church in Phoenix, Ariz. with burial at the Phoenix Memorial Park in Phoenix, Ariz.
Joan, youngest daughter of Jesse F. and Hattie Davis Chedester was born November 30, 1933 at home near Soldier. She graduated from Soldier High School and from Saint Joseph’s School of Nursing in Sioux City. She worked as a nurse there until moving to Phoenix in 1963 where she continued her nursing career at Humana Hospital.
