29 June 2016Danny R. "Boone" Little, 64, of Blencoe, Iowa, died Thursday, June 23, 2016 at his residence, surrounded by his family.
Memorial services will be held 10:30 A.M. Monday, June 27, 2016 at the Rush Family Chapel, Onawa, Iowa with Pastor Michael Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in the Center Cemetery, Castana, Iowa. Visitation will be held 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. Sunday, June 26, 2016 at the Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Rush Family Care Service, Onawa.
Danny Ray "Boone" was born May 16, 1952 in Pisgah, Iowa, the son of George Lavern and Pearl E. (Atwell) Little. He grew up in the Blencoe, Iowa and Onawa, Iowa area.
Danny and Connie Pranschke were united in marriage on September 13, 1980 in Onawa.
He had various occupations throughout his life, including heavy equipment operator and truck driver. He worked for Sorenson Tire in Onawa and at Con-E-Co Concrete Equipment Company in Blair, Nebraska for thirteen years.
Danny greatly enjoyed hunting, fishing, and his garden.
Survivors include his wife, Connie Little of Blencoe, IA; two sons, Daniel (Marcie) Little and Troy Little, both of Blencoe, IA; one grandson, Kole Faith; six siblings, Vicki (Douglas) Bonine of Onawa, IA, Jerry Little of Des Moines, IA, Patty Reynolds of Milan, TN, Ronnie Little of Soldier, IA, Gary (Peggy) Little of Thompson, GA, and Dennis Little of Trenton, TN; and his beloved dog, Bear.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George Lavern and Pearl Little, and two siblings, Verna Sturtevant and Ricky Little.
