Harriet E. Larson, 64, Moorhead, Iowa, died March 26, 1986, at Burgess Memorial Hospital in Onawa after a long illness.

She was born July 2, 1921, at Strawberry Point, Iowa, to John and Anne (Marshall) Carpenter. She was an aide to Dr. Halger Anderson at Strawberry Point for a number of years. On March 17, 1959, she married Stanley Larson at Davenport, Iowa. The couple farmed west of Moorhead since 1960.

She was a member of Bethesda Lutheran Church and Dorcas Circle of the church.

Survivors include her husband, Stanley; and a daughter, Christine Larson of Moorhead.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and two brothers.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 29, 1986, at Bethesda Lutheran Church, Moorhead, Iowa, with Rev. Paul Birkedal officiating. The organist, Mrs. Daryle Lauritsen, played, “How Great Thou Art” and “In The Garden.”

Casket bearers were Jerry Hansen, Harvey Hansen, Melvin Knoff, Merle Losh, Roy Lauritsen, and Clifford Swenson.

Interment was in the Ingeman Cemetery, Moorhead, Iowa, with arrangements by Pearson Funeral Home, Onawa, Iowa.
