OLD UTE RESIDENT DIED LAST MONDAY

Death came Monday March 3rd to relieve the suffering of Mrs. M. J. Kelley a Ute resident who was 65 years old. She was afflicted with cancer but the severeness of the malady was not generally known until a short time previous to her death. Mrs. Kelley had been a well known resident of Ute and community since her early girlhood.

Funeral services were conducted from the M. E. church at Ute on Tuesday afternoon; Rev. George Scheider preaching the sermon, and the burial was in St. Clair cemetery beside the grave of her mother Mrs. E. A. Stapleton.

She is survived by her husband, four sons, Rolla of Ute, Clay and Cecil of Sioux City and Ellis of Danbury, and three daughters Mrs. Pearl Davis of Turin and Mable and Mrs. Wiltsey of Minneapolis, twenty-one grandchildren and three great- grand children.
