Father of Soldier Editor Buried There Friday

John Dickinson, father of Clyde Dickinson, editor of the Soldier Sentinel who had reached the age of 80 years, passed away Tuesday of last week of flu complications. Burial was made in St. Clair Cemetery at Ute on Friday following funeral services conducted by J.E. McNamara of Castana.

Mr. Dickinson had been a resident of Soldier for 32 years and of western Iowa for nearly 60 years.

He is survived by 6 children, 5 sons and 1 daughter, all of whom were present at the funeral services.
