CTVTL WAR VETERAN MUSTERED OUT

Robert Carroll, a Civil war veteran passed away at his home Aug 18 it the age of 86 year.

He is survived by 11 children and one sister, 45 grandchildren, 84 great- grandchildren, besides a host of friends.

The funeral was held Sunday Aug. 21 at the community church, Mr. Perrin preaching the sermon.

Burial was in Center cemetery.

The out of town relatives that attended the funeral, Mr. and Mrs. John Carroll of Rapid City, S. D.; Mr. Chas Carroll of S.D., Mr. and Mrs. Tom Carroll of S. D., Mr. and Mrs. Gene Carroll, of Meadow Grove, Nebr., Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Johnson of Smithland, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Tacy of Council Bluffs, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Ser Voss of Council Bluffs, Mrs. Bill Carroll, Mrs. George Smith, Mrs. John Snow, Miss Belle Carroll all of Sioux City; Martha Davis of Onawa, Mrs. Will Lloyd of Ute, Mr. and Mrs. Roy King of Battle Creek and Mrs. Jack Volgar of Schaller.
