MRS. THAYER VINCENT'S FATHER DEAD AT THE AGE OF NINETY FOUR

A P Bigelow, one of the oldest pioneer residents of Iowa and South Dakota died Monday in a Sioux City hospital. He observed his 94th birthday last Thursday. Born in Maine, he came to Iowa to make his home many years ago. Bigelow Park at Brown's lake was named for him.

He is survived by two sons C. H. of Los Angeles and W. T. of Salix, la. and five daughters, Mrs. R. P. Markell of Elk Point, S. D , Mrs. Fannie Moore of Houston, Tex ; Mrs. Laura Schackles of Manchester, la., Mrs. Madge Porter of Chicago and Mrs. Nettie Vincent of Salix.

Mr. Bigelow was a large land owner in the vicinity of Brown's lake where he lived for many years.
