26 June 2008Flora Baker, a longtime resident artist of Boulder, Colorado, and formerly of Mapleton, passed away Monday, June 9, 2008 at the age of 84.
Services were held 6 p.m. Thursday, June 12 at St. Luke's Antiochian Orthodox Church in Lafayette, Co, with Father David Mustian officiating. Trisagion prayers were held 6 p.m. Wednesday, also at St. Luke's. Graveside services were held 2:30 p.m. Monday, June 16 at Mt Hope Cemetery in Mapleton with Father David Mustian also officiating.
Flora was a founding member and iconographer of St. Luke Antiochian Orthodox Church of Lafayette.
Survivors include her children, Linda and James Baker and her granddaughter, Zoe Baker.
Pallbearers were Ronald J. Brotzman, Gary Fitzgerald, Michael Rossen, Tony Cirbo, Frank Adcock and Donald Hisky.
Contributions in Flora's honor may be made to St. Luke's Church.
Local arrangements were made under the direction of the Armstrong Funeral Home of Mapleton.
