ONAWA, Iowa -- Emma Dorothy McCall, 92, of Onawa died Thursday, June 20, 2002, at Burgess Health Center in Onawa.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at First Christian Church in Onawa, with the Rev. Mike Cahill officiating. Burial will be in Kennebec Cemetery, Castana, Iowa. There will be no visitation. Arrangements are under the direction of Rush Family Care Service of Onawa.

Emma was born March 10, 1910, in Ticonic, Iowa, the daughter of William and Emma (Allen) Jenkins. She attended country school in that area.

She married John Franklin "Frank" McCall on March 5, 1930, in Onawa. The couple lived and farmed in Monona and Woodbury counties for many years until Mr. McCall became a feed salesman in his later years. He died June 13, 1975.

She was a member of First Christian Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Norma Harris of Onawa; a son and his wife, Cleo and Shirley McCall of Willingboro, N.J.; two daughters-in-law, Suellen McCall of Killeen, Texas, and Margie McCall of Stockton, Calif.; a former daughter-in-law and her husband, Dona and Don Kelly of Oklahoma City, Okla.; nine grandchildren, Kathleen Folse, Karen Wright, Michael McCall, Bonita Janssen and Geraldine Woodcox, all of Texas, Darcy Schulte of Sioux City, Scott McCall of California, Steven McCall of New Jersey and Carol Donahue of Pennsylvania; six great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Winifred McCall; a brother-in-law and his wife, Earl and Theodora McCall; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Donald Dean and Darrell; a daughter-in-law, Therese; a son-in-law, Joe Harris; three brothers, Clyde in infancy, Jesse Jenkins and William Jenkins; and four sisters, Estella Miller, Jewell Phares Miller, Ruth White and Charlotte King
