ONAWA, Iowa — Mary Margaret Stanislav, 95, of Onawa died Wednesday, April 14, 1999 at Elmwood Care Centre in Onawa.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. John Catholic Church in Onawa, with the Rev. Frank Nemmers officiating. Burial will be in Onawa Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. today, with a Scripture service at 7 p.m., at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Pearson Funeral Home.

Mrs. Stanislav was born Dec. 6, 1903, in Dwight, Neb., the daughter of Anton and Antonia (Divis) Pokorny. She was raised in Dwight.

She married Louis Victor Stanislav on Jan. 9, 1923, in Greenwood, Neb. The couple moved to Blencoe, Iowa, where they lived for several years before moving to Onawa in 1938. He died Oct. 1, 1979, in Onawa.

She was a member of St. John Catholic Church, Rosary Society and Ashton Women's Club. She was a staff member of the floral hall at Monona County Fair, where she supervised the flower division.

She enjoyed gardening and ceramics.

Survivors include three daughters, Marjorie Parks of Onawa, Darlene and her husband, Dayle Ellis of Whiting, Iowa, and Phyllis Camacho of Memphis, Tenn.; a son and his wife, Robert and Karon of Woodbine, Iowa; 19 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great¬grandchildren; a sister, Antonia Ralkovec of David City, Neb.; six brothers, George of Oakridge, Ore., Anthony and his wife, Lucille of Rockport, Texas, William and his wife, Barbara of Bryant, Iowa, Albert and his wife, Beryl of Havana, Ill., Andrew and his wife, Mary of Harlan, Iowa, and Edward of Falls City, Neb.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three sisters, Blanche, Helen and Verna; a brother, James and two sons-in-law, Wayne Parks and Dr. A.M. Camaco.
