ONAWA, Iowa — Doris G. Cameron, 68, of Onawa died Tuesday, Dec. 1, 1998 at Burgess Memorial Hospital in Onawa.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. today at Pearson Funeral Chapel in Onawa. Burial will be in Onawa Cemetery.

Mrs. Cameron was born May 5, 1930, near Danbury, Iowa, the daughter of Charles E. and Alta (Leetch) Butcher. She graduated from Mapleton (Iowa) High School in 1948.

She married Gerald Cameron on Oct. 9, 1948, in Elk Point, S.D. The couple made their home in Sloan, Iowa, until moving to Onawa in 1973.

She was employed with Burgess Memorial Hospital and Elmwood Care Centre in Onawa.

Survivors include her husband; three sons, Kim E. of Iowa City, Iowa, and Kevin M. and Kent G., both of Onawa; four grandchildren, Jeremey, Ashley, Brittney, and Tiffanie Cameron; a sister and her husband, LaVerna and John Hamann of Anthon, Iowa; a nephew; and two nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son in infancy; a sister, Viola Anderson; and a grandson, Nicholaus in infancy.
