Adeline U. Heinse, 72, of Sioux City died Wednesday, April 16, 1997, at her residence following a lengthy illness.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, with the Rev. Christian J. Van Oosbree officiating. Burial will be in Onawa City Cemetery at Onawa, Iowa. Visitation will he from 2 to 9 p.m. today, with the family present from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. and a parish vigil service at 7 p.m., at Christy, Smith and Hockenberry Funeral Home.

Mrs. Heinse was born June 8, 1924, in Valparaiso, Neb., the daughter of Frank and Frances (Machacek) Stanislav. She was raised and graduated from the Blencoe, Iowa High School.

She married Robert E. Heinse on Sept. 17, 1946, in Blencoe. He died Jan. 27, 1976, in Sioux City. The couple moved to Sioux City from Blencoe in the mid 1950s. She was a homemaker and ran a day care center from her home.

She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

Survivors include a son and his wife, Larry and Linda of Sioux City; three daughters and their husbands, Carolyn and Ronald Bocian of South Sioux City, Janet and David Piercy of Herington, Kan. and Mary and Pat Salmen of Sioux City; eight grandchildren, Gerald and Chandra Bocian, Tye and Tara Piercy, Cindy and Brad Salmen, Stephanie and Stacy Heinse; a great-grandchild; a sister, Dorothy Nutt of Mapleton, Iowa; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother, George Stanislav.

Pallbearers will be Tye Piercy, Brad Salmen, Gary Bocian, Jay Kvidera, Dennis and Mike Nutt.

Memorials may be given to Hospice of Siouxland.
