Elmer B. Fredrickson, 91, Onawa, Iowa, died Wednesday, September 11, 1996, at Burgess Memorial Hospital in Onawa.

He was born June 11, 1905, at Onawa, the son of Nels and Sena (Nelson) Fredrickson. He attended school in Onawa and was a lifelong resident except of four years in Chicago and two years in Larimore, Wyoming.

On April 1, 1936, he married Esther Gravatt in Red Oak, Iowa. The couple made their home in Onawa where he was an electrician. Esther died December 19,1979, in Onawa.

He is survived by a daughter, Dohna Rode of Overland Park, Kansas, and son William H. Fredrickson of Glendora, California; and five grandchildren, Kim Rode, Brooke Rode, Danielle Rode, Diane Fredrickson and Julie Fredrickson.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Esther; and one brother, Henry.

Graveside services were held at 10:00 AM Saturday, September 14, 1996, at the Onawa Cemetery, Onawa, Iowa, with Pastor Donald R. Ludwick officiating.

Casket Bearers were Bernard Harper, Duane
Fredrickson, Everett Sorenson, Gerald Miller, Harvey Hanson, and Lerrance Virtue.

Interment was in the Onawa Cemetery, Onawa, Iowa, with arrangements by Pearson Funeral Home, Onawa, Iowa.
