Loraine A. Larimore, 83, of Onawa, Iowa, died Sunday, September 1, 1996, at Burgess Memorial Hospital in Onawa, Iowa.

Mrs. Larimore was born January 1, 1913, in Hartington, Nebraska, the daughter of Frank and Caroline (Strissel) Krumvieda. She moved with her family to rural Onawa as a child. She attended Onawa High School. On August 26, 1932, she married William L. Larimore in Pender, Nebraska. The couple lived at Turin until moving to the Onawa area in 1960. Mr. Larimore died February 1, 1987, in Onawa. She worked at Burkes Store in Turin and was a substitute teacher at the Turin school.

She was baptized in the German Lutheran Church in Omaha, Nebraska. She enjoyed bowling, fishing and gardening and was an animal and bird lover.

Survivors include 4 daughters and their husbands, JoAnn and Clifford Davis of Manhattan Beach, California, Judy and Ronald Hogancamp of Onawa, Joyce and Mike Botsford of Westlake Village, California, and Joleene and Paul Duff of Onawa; 8 grandchildren, Bill and Bob Hogancamp, Jeff, Chris, Damon, and Matt Botsford, and Blaine and Brian Davis; 10 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and 2 brothers, Howard held at 10:30 AM Friday, September 6, 1996, at the Pearson and Fritz Krumvieda.

Funeral Services were Funeral Chapel, Onawa, Iowa, with Rev. Steven C. Hetzel officiating. The organist was Mrs. Vince Phillips and the soloist, Mr. Jim Williams, sang, Climb Every Mountain". The organ selections was "In The Garden".

Casket Bearers were Bob Hogancamp, Bill Hogancamp,
Jeff Botsford, Chris Botsford, Damon Botsford, Matt Botsford, Blaine Davis and Brian Davis.

Interment was in the Onawa Cemetery, Onawa, Iowa, with arrangements by Pearson Funeral Home.
