Lynn Keith Richardson, 67, of Onawa, Iowa, died at his residence in Onawa on Saturday, September 4, 1999.

Mr. Richardson was born on August 10, 1932, at Onawa, Iowa, the son of Walter and Helen (Dorothy) Richardson. He attended school in Onawa and later joined the Marine Corps where he served in the Korean War. He returned to the Onawa area where he remained during his lifetime. He was a truck driver for Loomis & Sons Trucking Co. and managed the Empire Gas Co. in Onawa.

He was a volunteer fire fighter in Onawa; a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie No. 2270 at Onawa; Hillcrest Lodge A.F. & A.M. #648 at Castana; and the Abu Beker Shrine in Sioux City; and the Monona County Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #2694 at Onawa.

Survivors include two sons, Lynn and his wife, Michelle Richardson of Sioux City, Iowa, and Mark Richardson of Sierra Vista, Arizona; two daughters and their husbands, Brenda and Tom Berens of Persia, Iowa and Jody and Shane Stoeffler of Council Bluffs, Iowa; three step-children, Mike, Steve and Roxanne; 7 grandchildren; Allie, Zachary, Andrew and Brian Richardson of Sioux City; Staci Stevens of Council Bluffs, Shane and Tricia Marcum of Council Bluffs, and Sena Marie Stoeffler of Council Bluffs; four step-grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter, Joy Marcum of Council Bluffs; four brothers and their wives, Kenneth (Red) and Shirley Richardson of Onawa, Charles and Marylin Richardson of Onawa, Guy and Shirley Richardson of Whiting and Larry and Jeanette Richardson of Onawa; and two sisters and their husbands, Shirley Ann and Bill Harl of Little Sioux, Iowa and Virginia and Eldon Emmick of Clear Lake, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Donald Richardson; a son Kelly in infancy; and one sister in infancy.

Memorial Services were held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 8, 1999, at the First Christian Church, Onawa, Iowa, with Pastor Donald R. Ludwick officiating. The tape selections were "How Great Thou Art" and "Amazing Grace".

Honorary Bearers were his nephews.

Interment was in the Onawa Cemetery, Onawa, Iowa, with Military Rites by Monona County Veterans of Foreign Wars. Post #2694, Onawa, Iowa, with Logan Butcher, Commander.

Arrangements were by Pearson Funeral Home Onawa, Iowa.
