OBITUARY OF DANIELLE D. WITHEE

Danielle Dawn Withee, 9 years of age, of Whiting, Iowa, died Wednesday, August 26, 1998, at her residence following a lengthy illness.

She was born June 30, 1989, at Sioux City, Iowa, the daughter of Donald and Patti (Collison) Withee Jr. She was a student at Whiting Community School where she had completed the third grade. She was a member of the Whiting Church of Christ and very active in Kids For Christ. She belonged to Brownies and Girl Scouts of America Troop 476 and was a member of the River Runners Soccer and Softball teams. She was very outgoing and she loved her friends and pets, music and art.

Survivors include her parents, Donald Jr. and Patti Withee, Whiting; two sisters, Nicole and Andrea Vaughn of Whiting; her grandparents, Donald Withee Sr. of Sloan and John and Mary Collison of Sloan; her maternal uncle, John Collison Jr.; paternal uncles Bob, Mike, Gary and David Withee; maternal great-grandmother, Celia Holverson of Whiting; and paternal great-grandmother, Dagma Smith of Ainsworth, Nebraska.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Thelma Withee.

Funeral Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 29, 1998, at the Whiting Community School Auditorium, Whiting, Iowa, with Shawn Walden, Minister and Rev. Pat Minnick, officiating. The organist was Mrs. Kay MacClure and the pianist was Mrs. Fran Haack. Special Music Selections, "Amazing Grace" and "Father, Son and Holy Ghost" was by Monona County. Taped Selections were "No More Pain" by Point Of Grace, "My Heart Will Go On" by Celine Dion, and "Angels Among Us" by Alabama.

Honorary Bearers were Teachers and Classmates.

Casket Bearers were Bob Withee, Mike Withee, David Withee, Trevor Miller, Tom Mar, and Jonathan Kreisel.

Interment was in the Whiting City Cemetery, Whiting, Iowa, with arrangements by the Pearson Funeral Home, Onawa, Iowa.
