ONAWA, Iowa - Wanda Mae Davis, 80, of Onawa died Tuesday, Oct. 14, 1997, at the Burgess Memorial Hospital in Onawa.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at First Christian Church in Onawa, with the Rev. Donald R. Ludwick officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery at Mapleton, Iowa. Visitation will be after 3:30 p.m. today, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m., at the Armstrong Funeral Home of Mapleton.

Mrs. Davis was born April 7, 1917, near Soldier, Iowa, the daughter of Arthur L. and Rose (McNutt) Chamberlain. She lived in Monona County her entire life.

Survivors include four sons, Gary Hargroves of Fridley, Minn., Rex and his wife Barb Hargroves of Holstein, Iowa, Don and his wife Betty Davis of Onawa, and Roger and his wife Sandy Davis of Castana, Iowa; three daughters and their husbands, Connie and Jack Bridgeman of Mapleton, Sharon and David Poole of Turin, Iowa, and Vicki and Chris Helmbrecht of Moorhead, Iowa; 20 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
