MAPLETON, Ia. — Special: Funeral services for James C. Quinn, 80-year-old Mapleton resident who died Monday in an Omaha nursing home, will be at 9:30 a. m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic church here.
Rev. A. H. Ocken will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery with the Walter funeral home in charge.
The rosary will be recited at 8 p. m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Quinn was born August 16, 1882 at Vail, Ia. and came to Mapleton community with his parents while still a small boy. He farmed for many years before retiring and moving into town.
Mr. Quinn married Theresa Schoenherr in Mapleton in 1915. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic church.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. King Smith of Tulsa, Okla., and Mrs. Alfred Jensen of Denison, Ia.; two sons, Earl of Charter Oak, Ia., and Francis of Omaha; six grandchildren, and a brother, Edward of O'Neill, Neb.
