Erma Meinhardt, age 83, of Medford, Oregon, died at Rogue Valley Medical Center in Medford on March 1, 1985.

She was born August 23, 1901, in Onawa, Iowa, the daughter of John and Minnie Gantz Miller. On December 23, 1922, she married Elwood Meinhardt in Sioux City, Iowa. Mr. Meinhardt died in 1955.
Mrs. Meinhardt moved to Medford from Iowa in 1967. She was a retired department store clerk. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Medford.

Survivors include one son, Robert Meinhardt, Medford; one daughter, Norma Jean Meinhardt, Klamath Falls, Oregon; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother, Ernest Miller, and one sister, Jenny.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 8, 1985, at the Pearson Funeral Chapel, Onawa, Iowa, with Dr. Herbert Foxworthy officiating. The organist was Mrs. Vince Phillips and the soloist, Mrs. Fred Gibson, sang, "How Great Thou Art" and "Amazing Grace".

Casket bearers were Charles Clemmensen, Leonard Miller, Dennis Amundson, and William Gantz, Sr.
Interment was in the Onawa Cemetery, Onawa, Iowa, with local arrangements by Pearson Funeral Home, Onawa, Iowa.
