MAPLETON, Iowa—Special: Funeral services for Adolph Alfred Means, 71, who died Tuesday at his farm home near here, of a heart attack, will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at St. John Methodist Church.

The Rev. W. Leonard Rouse will officiate. Burial will be in the Center Cemetery at Castana, Iowa, under direction of the Walter Funeral Home.

Mr. Means was born. Aug. 27, 1893 in Castana. He married Blanche Lee Sept. 16, 1919, at Sioux He was a m of the St. John Methodist and the Royal Neighbors.

Survivors are the widow; daughter, Mrs. Loren Bueoy of Mapleton, a brother, Earl of Mapleton; and six sisters, Mrs. Mabel Cooper of Onawa, Iowa, Mrs. Ida Davis of Danbury, Iowa, Mrs. Josie Davis of Turin, Iowa, Mrs. Florence Boe of Sioux City, and Mrs. Millie Andersen and Mrs. Beulah Mitchell, both of Sioux City, and a grandchild.
