SLOAN, Iowa — Conrad K. Kirkpatrick, 62, of Sloan died Friday, May 7, 1999, at a Sioux City hospital.

Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, at Belvidere Cemetery in Turin Iowa, with the Rev. Philip Olsen officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at Pearson Funeral Home in Onawa, Iowa.

Mr. Kirkpatrick was born on Oct. 11, 1936, in Sioux City, the son of Elzie and Hazel (Irene) Moore Kirkpatrick. He lived in Sergeant Bluff, Iowa, where he attended school.

He married Kay Bakke on Dec. 1, 1957, in Albaton, Iowa. He resided in Sloan for 42 years. He was employed by Peters Construction Company of Onawa for 21 years. He retired 5 1/2 years ago.

He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Sergeant Bluff.

Survivors include a son and his wife, Kim and Jacque of McCook Lake, S.D.; a daughter and her husband, Kathy and Mike Fox of Piedmont, S.D.; three grand children, Brad, Kara and Tyler; a sister and her husband, Marjorie and Merle Losh of Moorhead, Iowa; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Kenneth.
