CASTANA, Iowa — Marjorie Emma Westberg Rousey, 79, of Collinsville, Okla., formerly of Castana died Thursday, Feb. 25, 1999, at her residence.

Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Pearson Funeral Chapel, Onawa, Iowa. Burial will be in the Belvidere Cemetery, Turin, Iowa. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Rousey was born Nov. 11, 1919 to Arvid and Florence (Wagner) Westberg in Turin, Iowa. She graduated from Castana High School and went on to earn her Teaching Certificate. She taught several years in the area. She married Thomas Rousey on Feb. 13, 1948, at Waukegan, Ill. She was a retired civil service employee of Fort Gordon, Augusta, Ga. She loved history and was a genealogist.

Survivors include four brothers, Harry and his wife, Leslie of St. Paul, Minn., Arley of Port St. Lucie, Fla., the Rev. Leonard and his wife, Darlyene of Junction City, Kan., and the Rev. Francis and his wife, Barbara of Cushing, Okla.; a sister, Melissa Anderson of Collinsville, Okla. and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Donald; and a sister, Doris.
