Ada A. Erickson, 78, of Sioux City; died Saturday, Jan. 9, 1999, at a Sioux City nursing home.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. John Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Terry D. Hudson officiating. Burial will be in Belvedere Cemetery in Turin, Iowa. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel.

Mrs. Erickson was born April 21, 1920, in Turin, the daughter of Hans and Martha (Larsen) Hansen.
She married Donald Erickson on Nov. 19, 1945, in Onawa, Iowa.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Larry Erickson of Sioux City and Rick Erickson and his wife, Mary, of Omaha; two daughters, Donna and her husband, Milford Bell and Brenda Peterson, all of Sioux City; six grandchildren, Lauri Mitchell, Greg Bell and Michelle, Kevin, Leslie and Lindsey Erickson; two great grandchildren; a brother, Harvey Hansen and his wife, Thelma of Turin, and a sister, Marian Keith of Onawa.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Nels, Irvin and Arthur and two sisters, Bessie Frederickson and Pearl Mathison.
