Rodney Morris Taylor, 38, of Whiting, Iowa, died Friday, July 2, 1999, at his residence.

Rodney was born October 8, 1960, in Kansas City, Kansas, the son of Albert and Louise (Howell) Taylor. He graduated from Seminole High School, Seminole, Oklahoma. He was a tower technician for United Communications and came to this area seven years ago. On April 24, 1997, he married Rebecca Heath in Sioux City.

Survivors include his wife, Rebecca, of Whiting, Iowa; one daughter, Latasha Taylor and one step-son, Branden Palmer, both of Whiting; his parents, Albert and Louise Taylor of Seminole, Oklahoma; two brothers and their wives, Butch and Vickie Taylor of Wewoka, Oklahoma, and David and Dana Taylor of Seminole, Oklahoma; two sisters and their husbands, Judy and Lonnie Goodnight of Cowetta, Oklahoma, and Linda and David Mead of Smithland, Iowa; his grandparents; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Penny Johnson and Mary Angeland.

Graveside services were held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, July 6, 1999, at Hite Cemetery, Whiting, Iowa, with officiant Rev. Susan Miller, Chaplain, Hospice of Siouxland. Tape selections were "I'll Go On Loving You" and "How Do I Live Without You".

Honorary bearers were Hank Anglen, Alan Mead,
Steven Taylor, Shawn Goodnight, and Ricky Simpson.

Casket bearers were Larry Anglen, Richard Taylor,
Shane Taylor, Scott Mead, Brad Mead, and Steven Goodnight.

Interment was in Hite Cemetery, Whiting, Iowa, with arrangements by Pearson Funeral Home, Onawa, Iowa.
