Harold Maxwell son of Mrs. Walter Maxwell and the late Walter Maxwell passed away August 24, 1979 in California. He was born November 1, 1923 in Iowa and resided in Lakewood California for the past 28 years. Harold is survived by his wife Marian (Dolly), two daughters Janice, Charleston, S.C. and Colleen Houser, Long Beach, Calif., two sons Walter of Lakewood California and Timothy of Long Beach. There are four granddaughters and four grandsons. Harold is also survived by his mother Marie Maxwell of Onawa, 2 brothers, Leo of California and Jim of Onawa. Harold was also a foster father to 34 foster children in the past 12 years. He was a member of the Paramount BPOE Elks for 10 years.

Services were held at the Elks Lodge by Elk members on August 27, 1979.

Interment was at Rose Hills in Whittier. Harold was a family man and he truly loved his country and respected it he shall be truly missed by one and all.
