Ellen M. Maxwell, 91, of Council Bluffs, died October 7, 2003 at Northcrest Care Center. She was born on April 13, 1912. She had previously lived in Blencoe and Onawa, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her husband Earl, daughter Wilma Earleywine, granddaughter Patti Stockton, grandson Danny and son-in-law Darold.

Survivors include daughter Donna Kriesel and husband Paul of Carter Lake, Iowa; grand-daughters Penni Scott and husband Rex of Valley, Nebraska, Vicki Harvey of Las Vegas, Kathi Earleywine of Hawaii, Candice Brewster and husband Clint of Missouri Valley, IA, Joleen Miller of Onawa, IA and grandson Eugene Kriesel Jr. of Sioux City, IA.

Graveside services were held on October 10 at Blencoe, Iowa.

Cutler-O'Nel 11-Meyer-Woodring Funeral home handled the arrangements.
