MOORHEAD, Iowa — Vivian Lorene Dunlop, 77, of Moorhead died Tuesday, Nov. 11, 1997, at a Omaha, Neb. hospital.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Moorhead Christian Church, with the Rev. John Eilers officiating. Burial will be in Spring Valley Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Pearson Funeral Home in Onawa, Iowa.

Mrs. Dunlop was born Oct. 28, 1920, in rural Moorhead, the daughter of Darrell C. and Edith D. (Anderson) Lawrenson. She graduated from Moorhead High School in 1938.

She married Walter Dunlop on May 27, 1940 in Onawa. She was employed as a telephone operator and worked in the dry goods store, all in Moorhead.

She was a former member of Moorhead Christian Church and later a member of First Christian Church in Onawa. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 528, where she was a past Matron, a Cub Scout Den Mother, the American Legion Auxiliary and the Disabled American Veterans.

Survivors include her husband; two sons and their wives, Bill and Shirley of Moorhead and Bob and
Kaye of Sioux City; three grandchildren, Mike, Angie and Robin; eight step-grandchildren; 16 step-great-grandchildren; a son-in-law, Roger Topf of Springfield, Mo.; a sister, Ethel Mae Wakehouse of Onawa; a brother and his wife, Russell and Margaret of Mondamin; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Sandra and a sister, Shirley.
