ONAWA, Iowa — Marian T. Keith, 89, of Onawa died Wednesday, March 3, 1999, at Elmwood Care Centre in Onawa.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Faith Lutheran Church in Onawa, with the Rev. Steven C. Hatzel officiating. Burial will be in Spring Valley Cemetery, Moorhead, Iowa. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. today, with the family present 7 to 8 p.m. and a prayer service at 7:30 p.m., at Pearson Funeral Home in Onawa.

Mrs. Keith was born Nov. 16, 1909, in Turin, Iowa, the daughter of Hans and Martha (Larson) Hansen. She attended Brown Country School.

She married Hollis A. Keith on July 31, 1935, in Onawa. The couple lived in Moorhead, where she was a cook in the Moorhead Cafe for several years. They moved to Council Bluffs, Iowa, in 1944, where she was employed as a salesperson at Sears for several years. They returned to Onawa in 1966. He died Oct. 31, 1971, in Sioux City.

She had been a resident of Elmwood Care Centre for eight years.

She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Women's Club and Onawa Women's and Garden Club. She enjoyed quilting.

Survivors include a brother and his wife, Harvey and Thelma Hansen of Turin; a sister-in-law, Edna Hansen of Harlan, Iowa; a brother-in-law, Don Erickson of Sioux City; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three sisters, Bessie Fredrickson, Pearl Mathison and Ada Erickson; and three brothers, Nels, Irwin and Arthur
