ONAWA, Iowa — Warren Leroy Perrin, 76, of Onawa died Monday, June 28, 1999, at Burgess Health Center in Onawa.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Bethesda Lutheran Church in Moorhead, Iowa, with the Rev. Paul E. Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Spring Valley Cemetery, with a flag presentation and taps conducted by American Legion Peter A. Hansen Post 365 of Moorhead. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Friday at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Pearson Funeral Home in Onawa.

Mr. Perrin was born March 12, 1923, in Moorhead, the son of Walter and Martha Ellen (Marrow) Perrin. He graduated from Moorhead High School.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II from 1943 to 1945, stationed at Kwajalein Atoll and Marshall Islands in the Pacific.

He married Lorraine Hintz on Dec. 6, 1951, in Ida Grove, Iowa.

He was employed as a mold maker and machinist with Anglo American Co. in Anaheim, Calif. He retired in 1985, and they moved to Onawa. She died Aug. 29, 1996, in Onawa.

He was a member of Bethesda Lutheran Church and Elk Lodge 586 A.F.&A.M. in Moorhead.

Survivors include a daughter and her husband, Joyce and Kevin Boyle of San Juan Capistrano, Calif.; five grandchildren, Chris, Sean and Jennifer Boyle and Shawna and Carrie; two sisters, Lorna and her husband, Darrell Wessell, of Moorhead and Nola Sorensen of Los Angeles, Calif.; and two sisters-in-law, Alberta Aduddell of Cherokee, Iowa, and Helen Hintz of Sioux City.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Lyle Dean.
