C.R. Maule, Well Known Resident, Died Tuesday Morning

C.R. Maule well known resident of this vicinity passed away at his home south of Onawa on Tuesday morning, January 21st, 1941. He was at the time of his death 73 years, 10 months and 4 days of age.

He was born at Mondamin, Iowa on March 17th 1867. He moved to this vicinity 26 years ago and had since made his home here where he had gained the friendship and live of hundreds in this vicinity. He was taken ill on New Years Day and did not improve and finally death relieved his suffering.

He is survived by his widow and four children; Elroy Maule, Inez Maule, Mrs. Wm. Beedle and Robert Maule.

Funeral services were held at the Cheney Mortuary this Thursday and the body will be shipped to Ogden, Utah for burial.
