Doris Mae Hubbard, age 87, of Boone and the Eastern Star Masonic Home, died at the Boone County Hospital January 6, 2011.

Her body was cremated and a 2:00 p.m. graveside service will be held May 29, 2011 at the Ingemann Danish Church. Many family members will be present.

Doris was born on March 23, 1923 in Moorhead, the daughter of Henry and Martena (Daugaard) Misfeldt. She graduated from Moorhead High School and married William "Bill" Hubbard in Lincoln, Nebraska.

The couple lived in Sioux City, Boone, and Lago Vista, Texas. Doris moved back to Boone in 2001.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed golf, bridge, and cooking and baking.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, a brother and her husband, Bill.
