Wayne Campbell of Rock Springs, Wyoming, formerly of Onawa passed away June 21, 2011.

He was born in Onawa, Iowa the son of Hiram and Edna Campbell on April 21, 1935. He married Mary Meltnovich in 1969. Mary passed away in 2006.

Following serving with the Army during the Korean War Wayne retired after 20 year with Church & Dwight a subsidiary of Arm & Hammer. After retirement Wayne enjoyed building things and tinkering with cars.

Graveside services were held at Rock Springs, Municipal Cemetery with Military Honors provided by the VFW and American Legion.

Survivors are two sons, Larry of Lebanon, OR and Len of Parma, ID; one daughter, Lori Wright of Parma, ID; a brother, Floyd (Jeanie) Campbell of Silver City, IA; a sister, Elsie Grandgenett of Onawa; nine grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary, parents, Hiram and Edna Campbell, a son, Lee, a grandson, Ace, four brothers and two sisters.
