Sharon Elaine Martin, 29, of Abilene, TX, died Tuesday, March 6, 2001, at an Abilene, TX hospital.

Sharon was born March 12, 1971, at Onawa, Iowa, the daughter of Roger and Avril (Causer) Hansen. She graduated from high school at Thompson, ND in 1989 and moved to Abilene, TX in 1992.

She married Corry Martin on January 8, 1993, in Abilene. This union was blessed with two children, a daughter Brittany `and a son Randy.

She was employed by the Health Department as a caseworker.

Services were held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 10, 2001 at the Lawrence-Adams Funeral Home in Anson, TX. Officiating was Rev. Jim Hanson of Grace Lutheran Church where Sharon was a member.

Burial was at Mount Hope Cemetery in Anson.

Survivors include her husband, daughter and son of Abilene, her parents Roger and Avril Hansen, brother Rick and his wife Renae Hansen, and nephews Brandon and Nicholas all of Onawa, IA, her mother-in-law, Patsy Martin, brother-in-law, Kyle, and sister-in-law Debbie and family, all of the Abilene area, and many other relatives and friends.
