Mrs. Ole Vick Dies In Oregon

Mrs. Ole Vick of Woodburn, Oregon, one time resident of the Soldier community, passed away November 19 at the age of 89 years.

Funeral services were held on November 23 at 2:00 p. m. from Ringo Cornwell Mortuary with burial n Belle Passi Cemetery at Woodburn. Rev. J. Wm. Carlson, Woodburn, and Rev. J. A. Luthro, Silverton officiated.

Mrs. Vick was born in Norway Dec. 9, 1866 and married Ole L. Vick Oct. 10, 1891 in Onawa. They went to Oregon in 1908.

Surviving are three daughters: Ida Johnson of Woodburn; Gilma Mayers of Fresno, Calif., and Carol Lewin of Portland, Oregon; one sister, Cornelia Olson of Charter Oak Ia.; nine great grandchildren, six grandchildren, three step grandchildren and four step great grandchildren.
