Pioneer Whiting Lady Died August 24 1957

Funeral services for Mrs. Aminda Utterback, 88, who died Saturday, August 24, 1957, at the Onawa Hospital after a short illness were held at the Methodist church in`Whiting. Rev. Virgil Howard was the officiating minister. Burial was made in the Whiting Cemetery under the direction of the Wood Funeral Home of Whiting.

Mrs. Utterback was born in Whiting, July 24, 1869, and had lived, in that community all her life. She was a member of the Methodist church, the Rebekah Lodge and the Royal Neighbors of America.

She was married to Frank T. Jennewein who preceded her in death. One daughter, Mrs. Georgia Irish also preceded her in death.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Eva Payson of El Cendro, Calif., Mrs. Gladys Holmes of Whiting and Mrs. Katherine Vincent of Winslow, Ark; a niece, Mrs. Louie Langren of Whiting and nine great grandchildren.
