Everett Harvey Larson, son of James Peter and Bessie Belle (Dorothy) Larson, was born February 27, 1911, at Ute, Iowa. He was the second child in a family of three children. He lived in the Ute community for his entire life. His life's occupation was trucking and farming.
Harvey was married to Ferne Pauline Hall August 22, 1940 at Elk Point, South Dakota. This union consisted of two children.
Mr. Larson died Wednesday, May 13, 1959 at his home in Ute after suffering a heart attack. He lived 48 years, 2 months and 19 days old.
He is survived by his wife Ferne, one daughter, Mrs. Carol Sedlacek of Amarillo, Texas, one son, Michael at home, one step-son, Albert Lawson, of Whiting, a sister, Mrs. Dorothy (Larson) Kelm of San Gaberiel, California and one brother, James Vernon Larson of Moorhead; and a granddaughter. He also leaves a host of relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services were held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the Christian church. Rev. Robert Boseck officiated. Burial was made in St. Clair cemetery.
Pallbearers were Floyd Shipley, Lyle Thompson, Chris Gregerson, Clarence Thompson, Roy Borcherdt, Charles Swanson.
