JEPPE CHRISTENSEN Funeral services for Jeppe Christensen, 73, a resident of Rodney, Ia., for 42 years, who died Sunday, will be held in the Congregational church at Rodney at 1 o'clock this afternoon.

Rev. A. B. Schwertz, pastor of Trinity Lutheran church of Sioux City, will officiate and interment will be in the Grant cemetery near Rodney. Mr. Christensen died at his home after a long sickness.

Born in Denmark November 24, 1862, Mr.Christensen came to the United States in 1888 and moved to Omaha. In 1894 he moved to Rodney, where he since had made his home. He was a retired blacksmith.

Surviving are his widow; one daughter, Mrs. Louise Medalen of Inwood, Ia.; three brothers in Denmark and two sisters who reside in the United States
